Treatment
There are many forms of treatment, but we each have to find our own path: finding not only a therapist we trust and with whom we have a good working relationship (and vice versa), but also the form of treatment that suits us best.

Each of us is a unique individual, and what might work for you might not work for someone else. What is important is that you find the form of treatment that helps you understand, deal and overcome your experiences and problems. What is also important is that you feel safe during the therapy, that you feel you are going at a pace suitable to you, and that you feel that you are making concrete progress.

These are some of the different therapies available. An explanation for each will be coming soon:

* Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
* EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
* Art Therapy

Support Groups
Support groups are an exellent way to meet other survivors who have experienced a similar situation. They know and understand what you've gone through.

By joining a support group, whether in real life, online or both, you are giving yourself the opportunity to talk and share your good and bad experiences in a safe and supportive environment with others who can relate to what you are going through. You are also enlarging your support network, a crucial element in your journey of healing

The more faithfully you listen to the voices within you, the better you will hear what is sounding outside.
